Council meetings are open to the public. Visitors are provided time to speak after the agenda and minutes are approved on the agenda. Discussion topics are not always published in our official minutes but any decisions relating to those discussions, are. This is a time to collaborate on issues or provide feedback to the council. If there is a matter needing council decision, please contact city hall ahead of time so that an item can be added to the agenda regarding the topic. The agenda item needs to be given at least 24 hours in advance of the council meeting. This ensures public transparency and follows Iowa Code.
