Public Works samples drinking water everyday and sends to be tested at Microbac Labs in Centerville, IA.
Allerton contracts with local C & E Trucking Inc. for trash services. Pick up is on Tuesday morning each week. Please contact them with any trash-related questions or if you need a bin. They also have roll-off and rock hauling services available. 641-873-4116
Residents may bring recycling materials to the trailer at 101 S. Central Ave here in Allerton at no cost, or pay a one time fee of $12 for a recycle bin for the city to pick up the first and third Thursday each month.
Electronic payments are accepted for utility bills, building rental, deposits and contributions. A small user fee is applied to pay by card or eft.
For online utility bill payments, the account number on your water bill is your customer ID.

Both buildings have restrooms, and kitchen for use while renting.
Call for availability/reservation. Pay prior to rental day.

Plot spaces are $100 at the Allerton Cemetery.
You will need to set up a time to meet with our public works director to select a location. A deed will be issued once location is determined and payment made. The cemetery is located here.
