The City of Allerton bills residents and businesses for water, sewer and trash services. New to Town? You will need to stop in to apply for service by completing an application and making a deposit ($75 for owners and $150 for renters).

For water or sewer leaks on private property, please contact a local plumbing service. For main breaks, please notify City Hall 641-873-4459 or the Mayor for Public Works Department.
Allerton contracts with local C & E Trucking Inc. for trash services. Pick up is on Tuesday morning each week. Please contact them with any trash-related questions or if you need a bin. They also have roll-off and rock hauling services available. 641-873-4116
Residents may bring recycling materials to the trailer at 101 S. Central Ave here in Allerton or pay $12 for a recycle bin for the city to pick up the first and third Thursday each month.
Electronic payments are accepted for utility bills, building rental, deposits and contributions. A small user fee is applied to pay by card or eft.
For online utility bill payments, the account number on your water bill is your customer ID.

Both buildings have restrooms, and kitchen for use while renting.
Call for availability/reservation. Pay when picking up the key or before.
Plot spaces are $100 at the Allerton Cemetery.
You will need to set up a time to meet with our public works director to select a location. A deed will be issued once location is determined and payment made. The cemetery is located here.
