Knapp Park is right on Central Ave coming through town, across from the centennial building and the Old Time Soda Fountain. Murals, trees, and flower beds maintained by the Allerton Garden Club, surround the gazebo in the center. There are several memorial benches located throughout as well. The park trees light up each evening with string lights- a peaceful walkthrough and quaint hangout. Named after Bill Knapp.

The Allerton Ballpark consists of 2 newly built baseball/softball fields, shelter house with picnic tables, and concession stand with restrooms located at the end of E. Elm St.
The ballfields were rebuilt after the tornado in March of 2022. The restructuring was a great display of resilience and community collaboration - several hours and donations were given to help with the project and we're thankful for all who were involved.
